The STOTS Outreach program was started to spread the light of the Gospel through classes, songs and interactions by reaching out to the faithful members of our parishes of the Outside Kerala Region who live in a vast cultural and linguistic differences.
MINISTERIAL FORMATION
The basic aim of the St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary is to train the future priest candidates and missionaries of the Church in the multi-lingual and multi-cultural context of India. As part of making efforts to bring the Church more accessible to the people, the Seminary is launching the Online Study Programme.
OSSAE-OKR
St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary serves as the head quarters for the OSSAE-OKR. This wing focuses on the spiritual nurturing of the children, who are from our Outside Kerala Churches. This organization is operated by the dedicated team of OKR under the guidance and leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. Bijesh Philip.
OVBS-OKR
Orthodox Vacation Bible School-Outside Kerala Region (OVBS-OKR) is one of the major outreach programs of St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary, Nagpur. Almost all students of the St. Thomas orthodox Theological Seminary are placed in different parishes outside Kerala. Every year OVBS happens in four phases Dussehra (Pooja) Holidays, Diwali Holidays, Christmas Holidays, summer vacation.
PRERANA SPECIAL SCHOOL
Prerana Special School (a home for the mentally challenged) is a mission project of the St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary, Nagpur. Prerana School is an institution especially developed for the underprivileged mentally challenged children, the malnourished in and around the city of Kalmeshwar. This School works with the motto 'help to help oneself'.
BODHANA PUBLICATIONS
This is the publication division of the Seminary. It publishes liturgical books, visual and audio aids as well as literature for children and laity who want to learn Bible and theology informally.
ODYM
Orthodox Diaspora Youth Meet (ODYM) is held once a year to bring together Orthodox Youth. A team of students and the faculty members lead the event during summer holidays. Outside Kerala centers or Dioceses are chosen for the event.
UPASANA
'Upasana' centre is the latest project of the Seminary. It will be a focal point for hosting various spiritual activities. Those who seek spiritual solace and comfort can come and stay here. Upasana Centre has a conference hall in memory of H. G. Stephanos Mar Theodosius. It has additional facilities for accommodation and dining for our staff, visitors and guests.
